SWAT: Well-known women’s rights activist, Tabassum Adnan survived a murder attack as unknown persons opened firing at her in Swat; however, fortunately, she remained unhurt in the attack.

Tabassum Adnan said that unidentified attackers have fired two bullets at her house in Swat district at around 12.45 a.m. on June 30, adding that she was unhurt.

In retaliatory firing by security guards, the attackers fled the scene, Adnan said.
Police have registered FIR at the Saidu Sharif police station and started the search operation. Police have also launched an investigation into the incident.

While talking to TNN, DSP Pir Saeed said Tabassum Adnan was receiving threats before this, including via text messages.
