MIRANSHAH: Power supply is disconnected in the whole North Waziristan Agency for the last three days due to technical fault in the main transmission line in Miranshah.

The local people said they are facing many difficulties due to power supply disconnection and there is water shortage in their houses, mosques and hospitals. They demanded the government to restore the power supply to end their problems.

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) officials said the transmission line has been affected in the mountainous area of Bakakhel and a team will be sent to the area today (Thursday) to remove the fault.
