SADDA: Hundreds of children in Wrasta area of Central Kurram Agency are deprived of education due to lack of any school for boys or girls in the area.

The local people said 512 families live in Wrasta area but there is no school for boys or girls in the area. They said other schools are situated at least 12 to 14 kilometres away from Wrasta and the area people cannot afford to send their children to these schools due to poverty. They demanded the government to establish boys and girls schools in the area and save the future of children.

“Schools are situated in Sateen, Sadda and other areas which are far away from our village. There are a lot of boys and girls in our village who are deprived of education due to lack of school in our area. The government should establish schools in our area to save the future of children,” a local resident told TNN.
