KOHISTAN: The Karakoram Highway will remain closed for traffic from 5 am to 8 am in the morning from June 13 to 18 on account of construction work on Dasu Hydropower Project in Brisben area of Upper Kohistan.

The decision was taken during an emergency meeting of National Highway Authority (NHA) Northern areas authorities.

Deputy Director NHA said the highway would remain closed on account of construction work on Dasu Hydropower Project in Upper Kohistan. He said the foreign and Pakistani tourists and local commuters could travel on the road during nighttime without any fear. He added that routine traffic on the road would be restored from June 18.
