KHAR, 9 October: A Jirga succeeded in ending a 30-year long enmity between two families as heirs of both families agreed to bury the hatchet on Monday.

Local elders, after hectic efforts, convinced the warring families of Ghulam Kaka and Ameer Rahman to set aside their enmity.

Both parties expressed their willingness and finally hugged each other at a gathering, swearing on oath to remain friends and would not harm each other in future.

The Jirga members urged all the people to set aside their differences and play their role in ending such enmities between two parties.
