The recovered Yemeni citizens were found tied with chains. According to them, they had been kept as captives by Luqman and his accomplices for a period of 3 years and were frequently tortured by the captors. The alleged criminal Luqman escaped during the early-morning raid.

District Police Officer (DPO) Parvez Umrani said that the DIG had announced 10,000 rupees in cash and appreciation certificates for the officials involved in the raid. He further said the Yemeni citizens will be given in custody of Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) which will then send them to Yemen after the necessary documents are prepared.
