Earlier this month, a Chinese ship named Eastern Light arrived at the Gwadar port which brought tons of heavy machinery for the development of the free zone port. As part of the free zone, Pakistan has given 2281 acre land to Chinese in Gwadar.

As soon as the ship arrived, the security of the port was beefed up by the marine guards. Last year in December, Chinese government handed over two naval ships as well to Pakistan Navy to provide security to the Gwadar port and its marine limits.

Reportedly, five Chinese ships including Eastern West have arrived at the post so far. PakVoices got some exclusive photos of the ship for its readers:

The vessel Eastern Light is being parked at the port. It carried the machinery for the development of the free zone.

The Chinese vessel was parked at the Gwadar port for unloading the machinery.

Since the arrival of the vessel, marine security has been beefed up. And no one is allowed access to the port except those workers who have the security pass.

So far five Chinese ships have made it to Gwadar port including Eastern Light.
